Our Vision

Brunswick House Tradition

Brunswick House continues to be the home of the Jones' family. To preserve the house, there is discussion of conversion into a country inn, restaurant, and conference center.

Agricultural Tradition

Historically, Brunswick House has been a diverse agricultural unit, and certain elements of this tradition have been preserved as pasture, forest, nursery, vegetables and flowers. Organic Gardening as a supporting element to a specialty restaurant in conjunction with the Bed and Breakfast may be part of the mix.

Natural Habitat Tradition

Historically, the land use pattern of Brunswick House has developed, preserved and enhanced the natural habitat, including forest and open space, lakes, creeks, and springs. This habitat has increasingly become a haven, in the midst of urban development, for wildlife. In the spirit of "conservation development", site specific considerations will dictate appropriate approaches, matching the economic requirements to the opportunity provided by the land resource. This current interpretation of stewardship will seek the highest and best use within the context of responsible ownership.
