The vision of Lakeland Green is of a community of
shared interests and values that focus on connectivity of human spirits in
live-work, play and worship. The intersection of conservation planning and
the traditional neighborhoods of New Urbanism provide a different context
for the creation of community institutions which demonstrate a tighter woven
fabric of human relations and responsibilities.
The churches of Lakeland Green can create the concept of smaller material
footprint (sanctuaries and building plants) and larger commitments to shared
community institutions underpinned by their outreach programs (health and
fitness, recreation, community values, etc.).
